36 PEARL DRY printing plates
are wound on a new reel
installed inside the plate cylinder.
Advancing the plates on all
printing units takes less than 20
seconds.Replacing the reels is
fast and simple.

Imaging unit
The Presstek ProFire imaging
unit consists of 32 laser diodes
installed on each printing unit.
The lasers image at a wavelength
of 830 nm.

 AdaControl
console with a flat touch screen is the centre point for the press operation.
From this console are controlled the press itself,the job changing cycle
including the plate imaging process,ink zones etc.
Remote register control enables
small register corrections due to
paper instability.The flat touch
screen provides information
about the press status that can
be advantageously used for
troubleshooting.

3.
Blanket washer
The blanket washer is
contro-lled from the fl at touch
screen offering various wash-up
mo-des.In addition to the
standard wash-up modes,users
may defi ne custom wash-up
cycles with cleaning agent,
wash-up with water and drying.

4.
Plate cleaner
After imaging the plate,the
loosened silicone particles are
removed from the printing area
of the plate.The plate cleaner
has one section for dry cleaning
and one for wet cleaning.
